Private airlines 'increasing in popularity'
One of Europe's major private airline organisations has opened a new branch in Paris, which could interest professionals intending to charter a private jet.
The Air Charter Service's latest addition adds to their eight existing branches and increases the group's reach, allowing it to offer its services at a cheaper rate.
It claims that it adds to a network enabling it to organise options such as empty leg charters that can make private airlines more affordable for professionals.
More businesses may be turning to private aircraft after ABTA - The Travel Association's prediction that airlines would be more cautious about launching business-class travel until 2010.
Frances Tuke, a spokesperson for the organisation, claims that the market is likely to improve next year but it is unlikely to do so before that point.
She says: "Business travel does actually tend to be one of the first casualties in something like a recession but it does tend to bounce back quite quickly."
